The CV and what should be in it:

Please send in a CV and cover letter to: info@teach-english-in-china.co.uk

For both the long term paid teaching programme as well as the internship programme you would take charge of a class of students yourself. If you work with relative beginners you will be assisted by a Mandarin speaking Teaching Assistant.

It’s important you have the confidence to lead a classroom and the ability to develop good relationships with your students. We do not look for previous teaching experience, but we do look for enthusiasm and for people who will make the most of their time in China.

You need to speak English at a native level, but previous teaching experience or knowledge of Mandarin are not required.

In your CV focus on experiences you have in terms of: public speaking and presentations, people oriented work (especially with children) and work in different cultural contexts.
