“Teach English in China have been absolutely great in helping me get a teaching job in China. The company has been excellent in providing support and guidance both before getting to China and now that I’m here. Securing a position and a working visa would have been 100x more difficult without all their help and so I would definitely recommend TEIC to anyone who is thinking of taking the plunge and moving to China.”

Save time and money with Teach English In China

We’re here to make your journey run smoothly, from start to finish. To help you get off on the right foot with a cost-effective, time-saving experience, we guarantee the following services:

Flight cost reimbursement

Let’s face it, flying isn’t cheap these days. That’s why we only work with schools that reimburse the cost of your trip. Note that this is usually once you’ve arrived and started work.

Visa application support

Getting a Chinese work visa is notoriously difficult, stressful and time-consuming. Why go it alone? We’ll guide you from beginning to end and update you on changes to the current process.

Quarantine guidance

Yes, we said it. The dreaded Q-word. Upon arrival in China, it’s likely you’ll have to undergo a 14-day hotel quarantine, the cost of which your school will reimburse once you start work.

Free accommodation

Stay in a FREE apartment for your entire stay. Don’t let the word free put you off; these are well-furnished, close to your teaching location, and guarantee a private room.

Professional development training

Whether you’ve got experience or not, ongoing training sessions will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a better educator and adjust to life in China.

Help setting up and settling in

Our team members have all (or still do) lived and worked in China, so we get what it’s like. We’re here to support you, be it by solving problems, answering questions or giving advice.

Have you got what it takes?

In order to legally be eligible for the program, you must:

Hold a passport from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, New Zealand or Australia

Have a bachelor’s degree in any subject

Travelling anywhere at this time isn’t for everyone. That’s why we ask that you’re prepared to adapt to any changes to visa application processes and expected start dates.
